EV Out of Charge Near Bansko? We Come to You and Charge on the Spot

Run out of charge on the way to Bansko, on the Predela pass or in the car park below the ski lifts? You don’t need a tow truck. Our mobile charging station drives to you and puts enough energy into the battery for you to reach the nearest charger under your own power — the only mobile EV charging service south of the Sofia–Plovdiv line. English, Russian and Serbian spoken, WhatsApp answered, around the clock.

How it works

  1. Call or message us on WhatsApp / Viber — where you are and what car you drive. A live location pin helps.
  2. We drive out with the mobile charger. It carries both European connectors — Type 2 (AC) and CCS (DC) — so it charges practically every modern EV and plug-in hybrid.
  3. We charge on the spot. Around 20 minutes gives you roughly 20 km of range (it depends on the car and the temperature).
  4. You drive on. We tell you which nearby charging station is working and you get there on your own — no towing, no waiting for a flatbed.

What the mobile charger can do

  • 15 kWh of energy on board — enough for several rescue charges in one shift
  • Type 2 and CCS — the two standards used across Europe, Tesla included
  • About 20 km in 20 minutes — what you need to reach a charging station
  • Works in freezing temperatures — exactly when EV range drops the most
  • 24/7, every day — it is part of our roadside assistance, not a separate company

The charging van is not a flatbed. If the car still won’t move after a charge, our recovery truck comes out — EVs are only ever transported on a flatbed, never towed on a rope or with wheels on the road, because manufacturers forbid it.

Where we come

Our base is in Razlog, just 10 minutes from Bansko. We cover Bansko and the road to the ski area, Razlog, the Predela pass, Dobrinishte, Banya, Belitsa, Yakoruda, Blagoevgrad, Simitli and Gotse Delchev. In Bansko, we’re usually with you within 20-30 minutes; on the Predela pass and elsewhere in the region, we’ll get to you as quickly as the distance and weather conditions allow.

Price

Our price depends on the distance and the charging time. We’ll confirm it by phone before we set off: no hidden fees, no surprises. If your car needs to be transported after charging, we’ll arrange that separately.

Driving an EV to Bansko in winter

  • Cold cuts EV range by 20–30 %, and the climb to Bansko and over Predela uses more than flat driving — plan with a margin.
  • Head into the mountains with at least 50 % and don’t rely on a single charger in the resort — there are queues at weekends.
  • If you drop below 15 % before the Predela pass, don’t gamble — call us and we charge you where you are.
  • Rental EVs: check the hire contract first — many include roadside cover, and we work with the assistance networks.
